Here are an image that explains my process.
I do my gestures and lay-in and make sure my proportions are all good and ready. Then you can see where I start dividing the light from the shadows on his leg. I usually hit the core shadow outline pretty hard, make a distinct value difference between light and shadow, then I go over it with a towel. After that all I really need to do is erase out some highlights and make the core shadow darker. Generally keeping in mind that cast shadows I like to be hard and form shadows soft.

Here are three of the backgrounds that I did for Spiritonin's latest project. I am kind of proud of them but am more excited for what the future pieces will be like. I just purchased a book with a tutorial from Sparth and it should come in handy.

I was working late and got bored so I started a drawing in Photoshop then, I went on to coloring it, then it came out like this. It is a cruel fact of life for me that most of my happy time for art is right before bed but I am usually too tired to do most of it.

One day, before "I Love the Eighties " aired I was thinking with some college roomates, "Man, it would be cool to dress up as G.I. Joe guys for Halloween." Then when thinking through the characters we would be we decided that people could very well just confuse us for The Village People so I made this piece.

Here are some drawings and designs I did for my bud Spiritonin. He does a bunch of games. And in the odd case that some random brazilian fan should come by this site I put some yet to be see characters and unreleased drawings.

Joe Olson is a colleague and friend of mine at work. He did this drawing. I really dug its design, and was playing around with it to see what it would look like as a tapestry. After showing this to him, he asked me to post it. So here it is.
