Joe Olson is one of our most talented character designers at Avalanche. He was kind enough to let me color up some of his drawings. I have neglected to post them until now. I don't know why I think I just wanted a grouping of sorts. I did the monster back when I just started getting into 2D work again. The construction worker was one I did a few months back as part of a work challenge. The killer I did today. The monster was done in Painter and Photoshop. The construction worker was done in Painter, and the killer was in Photoshop.

It is remarkable how I think I can make up for shoddy work with an abundance of shoddy work instead. Occasionally I have a jem like the last post, but most of the time I am trying to reclaim a former glory. I guess never giving up is the key. And it wouldn't hurt to have time to draw more.
