And subsequently here is a chocolate chip cookie recipe that I conjured this weekend. Feel free to use it but I am mostly writing it down for my own records. I was a lot more happy with these results than past experiments.

1C Brown Sugar
1C White Sugar
1/2C Butter (sorry can't be margarine)
1/2C Shortening
2 Large Eggs 1 Egg yolk
1t Vanilla
1t Salt
1t Baking Soda
2 1/2C Flour (or until it starts to separate from side)
Chocolate Chips to taste

Oven at 350 until browning (around 14 minutes in Utah)
